His friends and colleagues at the Port Authority were saddened to learn that Joseph Colindres, a dedicated employee of over 26 years, passed away on February 18, 2025.
Joseph joined the agency in June 1998 as a Junior Engineer in the Engineering Department. He continued to advance in his career and was promoted in 2014 to Assistant Resident Engineer in Engineering’s Construction Management Division – a position he held until the time of his passing. Joseph will be remembered by his colleagues and friends for his hard work and diligence in getting the job done right.

Viewing was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Leo F. Kearns, Inc. (61-40 Woodhaven Blvd, Rego Park, NY 11374). A Mass was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church (98-16 55th Ave, Corona, NY 11368).
