Harry Chin was born in 1935 and raised in Passaic, NJ. He lived in Kinnelon, NJ for 30+ years with his wife, Connie, and children, before retiring to Las Vegas in 1997. Harry attended MIT and graduated from NJIT (B.S. in Electrical Engineering). For 30+ years, he worked for The Port Authority of NY and NJ in the World Trade Center's Twin Towers. Harry was an avid tennis player and a home improvement enthusiast. He was an officer/member of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of LV.
Harry is survived by Connie, his wife of 62 years; children Matthew (Valerie Sims) Chin and Melissa (Thomas Theel) Chin; grandchildren Anastasia Sims-Chin, Parker Sims-Chin, Magdalena Theel and Eva Theel; brothers David (Marilyn) and Alfred (Gloria); 4 nephews and 1 niece. He was preceded in death by brother Clinton Chin. Donations can be made to Unitarian Universalist Congregation of LV. A memorial service is planned for this summer.
