William F. Doyle, Jr., 66, of Clark, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Visitation at Walter Johnson Funeral Home on Monday, July 15 from 4 - 8 pm. The Funeral begins on Tuesday at 8:45 am at the Funeral Home, thence to St. Agnes Church, Clark, where a Funeral Mass will be offered at 9:45 am. William was born in Jersey City to William F. Sr. and Mary (Vicario) Doyle. He lived in Roselle, prior to moving to Clark 35 years ago.
William was a Police Officer with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for 26 years, retiring in 2011. He was a member of the Joseph Nugent, Sr. Association. William enjoyed fishing and traveling. He was always available to lend a helping hand to his friends. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, who were his pride and joy.
William was predeceased by his son Michael Doyle. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, JoAnn (Matusiewicz) Doyle; his devoted children, William F. Doyle III and his wife Shauna and Kathryn Byrne and her husband John; his cherished grandchildren, Lillian and Connor; his dear sister Jennifer Doyle and his four legged companion, Buddy.
