Ralph Mantello, 71 years old, both a resident of Venice FL and Ship Bottom NJ, passed away on Sunday October 15, 2023. Ralph was born on a Thanksgiving Day November 22, 1951 in Bronx NY to the late Ralph and Ursula Mantello.
Ralph was a Fire Safety Engineer with the Port of Authority of NY/NJ retiring in 2017.
He was a long time New York Giant and a New York Yankee fan and was a past volunteer firefighter with RESCUE 5 in Hawthorne NJ.
Ralph was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Ursula Mantello.
Surviving are his loving wife of 38 years Meg Madeo Mantello, his sister Diane and husband Craig Roberts, his mother-in-law Kathryn Madeo, brother-in-law Frank Madeo and partner Christine, brother-in-law Jim Madeo, brother-in-law Bill Madeo and partner Marco and sister-in-law Kathy and husband Eric Vandervalk. He was a very proud Uncle of two amazing nieces Katrina Roberts and Carly Vandervalk, and one wonderful nephew Christopher Roberts.
Visiting will be Thursday 4:00pm until 8:00pm at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home 2482 Church Rd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday 9:30am at Church of the Visitation Roman Catholic, arrive at the funeral home 8:30am. Cremation will be private.
