Marjorie Jean Giovanniello, age 58, of Hawthorne, on Friday, August 4, 2023. Born in Hoboken, Marjorie was raised in North Bergen and had lived there for most of her life before moving to Hawthorne. She worked as a payroll specialist for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
Marjorie Jean was the beloved daughter of the late Constance (nee: Accardo) Giovanniello (2018) and Antonio Giovanniello and his wife Brenda of Hawthorne. Loving sister of Victor Giovanniello and his wife Mary of Hawthorne and Lisa Gast and her husband Matthew of Sparta. Dear aunt of Justin, Nicole, Gianna, Gabriella and Ehtan. Marjorie Jean is also survived by her aunts Andrea Carraro, Giustina Giovanniello and Angie Van Wuerzen and her cherished cousins Joe Giovanniello, Cindy Gonzalez, Anthony Giovanniello, Andrew Giovanniello, Josephine Rosenberg, Mario Giovanniello, Kerry Carraro, Andrew Carraro, Brianna Carraro, Trey Carraro, Anthony Della Volla, Marianne Della Volla and Vincent Della Volla.
Funeral will depart at 9:30am on Monday, August 7, 2023 from the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Ave., Hawthorne, for a 10:00am funeral mass at St. Anthony R.C. Church in Hawthorne. Cremation will be private. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
