John J. Regan, Jr., 60, passed away June 13, 2023. John was born and raised in Jersey City, and was a proud graduate of St. Peter’s Prep. After Prep, John received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Scranton and went on to receive his master’s degree in finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University. John worked for the Port Authority of NY and NJ for over 30 years, before retiring in 2018. John loved to travel, play golf and was a big-time sports fan. He especially enjoyed watching college football, the Yankee’s, the Devils, and the Giants.
John was predeceased by his parents, John Regan, Sr. and Josephine (nee Haug) Regan. He will be missed by his sister Annemarie Landrigan and husband Terence, his niece Katie Landrigan and nephews, Patrick Landrigan and Regan Landrigan; also by cousins Maryann Crowe, Edward Mildenberger, Peggy Zoch and Alice Whitechurch. John was predeceased by cousin, John Crowe. John was also beloved by many other cousins and friends.
Family and friends will be received Thursday, July 13 from 4 to 8pm at Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford. There will be a gravesite service Friday, July 14 at 10am at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Rd. North Arlington, NJ.
