Michael A. Manning, 67, of Perth Amboy, N.J. And San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico died Saturday, (5-28-2022) in Mexico.
He was born in Holyoke, MA on September 18, 1954, the son of Joseph and Anne (Thompson) Manning. Michael was educated in Northfield schools and was a 1972 Graduate of Pioneer Valley Reginal School. His life's work was with the New York and New Jersey Port Authority working at La Guardia and Newark Airports from where he retired. He coached his son's youth soccer teams and was an avid New York Yankee's fan. While in Mexico he volunteered for an animal care organization.
He is survived by his Son: Christopher Manning of Tbilisi, Georgia, and his siblings, John and his partner Elaine of Kremmling, CO, Daniel and his husband Javier of Northfield, MA and Jane Kunhardt and her husband Daniel of Greenfield, MA. He is also survived by his former wife Donna (Siciliano) Manning and five nephews and his dachshund, Paco. He was predeceased by his older brother James E. Manning.
Funeral services will be held in the future at a time to be announced.
