Joseph P. Carrigan - Sergeant Carrigan succumbed from 9/11 related illnesses on September 10, 2021, from the 18-months of search, rescue and recovery operations at the World Trade Center, New York City, that he performed.
He responded heroically on September 11, 2001, along with other members of the PAPD, FDNY and NYPD to the World Trade Center, where he survived both collapses of the towers and rescued hundreds of civilians and other members of service.
