Damien X. Haydon of Ramsey, NJ passed away on March 16, 2021 surrounded by his loving family after a twenty year battle with cancer. Damien is survived by his wife Geralyn, his son Brian Damien, his sister Christine and her husband Paul, his best friend and brother Captain Robert Bennis, cousins he regarded as siblings, and his adored nieces and nephews.
Damien served in the United States Army as a young man and went on to become a cost analyst at The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. He was an avid reader with a fondness for history, mysteries, and current events. He was a lifelong skier, having taken on The Austrian Alps, but loved the Catskills, too.
For those who knew him, he will always be remembered for his kindness, his humor, his spirit, his courage, his strength, and above all, his love for family.
A memorial service in Damien's memory will be announced at a later date.
