When Tom was the Manager of the PABT I used to sneak away every so often to have breakfast with him at the Bus Terminal.  Tom would always manage to get away from work to meet a few of us from the WTC in Chinatown at least a few times a year.  Tom was always a big kid at heart thatís why we all got along so well.

After Tom retired a group of us used to meet once a year to celebrate Toms birthday in his home town at a local restaurant.  We did this every year until a few years ago when Tom could no longer move from his home.  My last memory of Tom was about a year or so ago myself and John Korek went to visit him at his home.

It was heartbreaking, Tom was always a very strong and vibrant man his whole life, he loved life and there he was a shell of the man who was my friend.  I cried after that day, I knew he would pass soon my heart broke to see him this way and his wife Sarah was so brave, she took care of Tom for many years in his debilitated condition.  She refused to put Tom in a nursing home, he was a very proud man, I will surely miss Tom.  I have such good memories of Tom going back more years than I care to remember.
Rest In Peace.........Joe SanSevero
